A further three additions have landed on Xbox Game Pass, and they’re all day one launches.
If you’re wondering what to play this weekend, allow me to give you the lowdown on the latest offerings.
Let’s start with Dungeons of Hinterberg.
Advert
Developed by Microbird Games, this action-adventure RPG sees players explore the alpine village of, you guessed it, Hinterberg.
“Welcome to Hinterberg, a new tourist hotspot in the idyllic Austrian Alps! You play as Luisa, a burnt-out law trainee taking a break from her fast-paced corporate life to conquer the Dungeons of Hinterberg,” the synopsis teases.
The game has garnered a very respectable score of 82 over on Metacritic.
In our own review, GAMINGbible’s Ewan Moore awarded a score of eight, writing, “As a Zelda fan of nearly 30 years, it’s not easy to find a game that comes close to scratching that itch in a truly authentic way, but Dungeons Of Hinterberg is the real deal.”
Advert
“This is a real gem of a game that has managed to find a genuinely fresh new way to approach a well-worn genre. Like any holiday worth taking, there are some hiccups along the way, but you’ll find yourself thinking about going back to Hinterberg almost as soon as you leave.”
Take a look at the game in action below.
Next up, we have Flintlock: Siege of Dawn. This one’s developed by A44 Games and is a souls-lite that places players in a world where guns and gods collide.

It received much more middling reviews, landing on a score of 71 but that's still a solid achievement.
Not every game we play needs to be a 10 out of 10. There’s always room for something that’s, well, just fine.
Unfortunately, the game is being review-bombed. Why? As reported by GameRant, this appears to stem from racist individuals who have taken issue with the protagonist being a black woman.
Included bomb reviews note that “DEI games suck,” which stands for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

I urge you to ignore this hateful rhetoric, and give Flintlock a go.
Finally, we have Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess.
This one comes from Capcom and describes itself as “a unique Japanese-inspired, single player Kagura Action Strategy game.”
You’ll “repeat the day and night cycle until you cleanse the mountain of defilement and return peace to the land.”

This one also landed a respectable score on Metacritic. It currently sits at 79.
All three games are available on Game Pass now.
