Finally, we were treated to the first expansion trailer for Starfield at the Xbox Games Showcase and it looks to be an epic one for intergalatic sci-fi space adventurers.
It’s been a long time coming for the Starfield: Shattered Space expansion - and judging by its debut gameplay trailer just released by Bethesda, it’s bringing a lot more tension and suspense. Hopefully, it won’t disappoint. What’s more, a free content update is available to download today for PC and Xbox Series X/S.
Check out the Starfield Shattered Space trailer below!
"Shattered Space is a new story expansion for Starfield, Bethesda Game Studios' epic role-playing game and first new universe in more than twenty-five years. A mysterious power stirs in the city of Dazra on House Va'Ruun's hidden homeworld. Investigate a frightening cosmic threat, explore a new planet, and find unique weapons, spacesuits, and gear in this all-new adventure," reads the description of the expansion.

In our review of Starfield, we said: "Bethesda has created a universe that, despite its vast scale, maintains interest and an impressive attention to detail throughout. The journey you embark on will dazzle you, and I have no doubt that players will be gripped for months, perhaps even years to come."
As for the new content update that is available today, players will be able to jump straight into the Trackers Alliance and right now, console gamers can take advantage of the ever-vibrant modding community with the long-awaited inclusion of the Creation Club. Of course, the mods will be restricted compared to its PC counterpart but its a welcomed addition nonetheless.
It's been a bit of a rough road for Starfield since its launch late last year with the RPG perhaps not meeting the expectations of some fans. However, hopefully this expansion and latest free content update will get the game back on track.
Starfield: Shattered Space will launch for PC and Xbox Series X/S later this year.
