We can’t believe we’re saying this considering how excited we are to play as Ciri, but The Witcher 4 can afford to take its time.
Our sights are set on another adventure, one that stars our beloved Geralt.
As much as we realise it’s Ciri’s time to take charge in The Witcher 4 – as has been teased for years – we just aren’t ready to bid farewell to the White Wolf.

Later this year, a new Geralt adventure will be in the palm of our hands, delighting and wowing us with more fantastical tales.

Before you get your hopes up that CD Projekt Red has somehow been concealing another new game all this time, we need to be clear about this new story: it’s a comic series.
We know some of you will immediately switch off having learnt this, but we implore you to stay because the artwork alone looks breathtaking.
As shared on Bluesky by Dark Horse Comics, this new series will kick off with The Witcher: The Bear and the Butterfly.
Issue one will become available from 23 April.

Despite being such a recent announcement, fans are already in awe of how stunning the issue looks.

As titillating as the true scale of The Witcher 4’s world is, we’re happy to wait for it now that we have another Geralt saga to immerse ourselves in.
