Steam free store credit available now, but you don't have long

Steam users can win one of three free gift cards, giving them a bit of store credit to spend on the latest releases.

There are a lot of good games out at the moment and plenty more to come, especially if you’re a PC user, so who wouldn’t want a bit of extra cash to spend?

If you’re hoping to bolster your backlog with some new titles and regularly use Steam you won’t want to miss the latest giveaway from the Twitter, or X, account Free Steam Games.

Three lucky winners will be walking away from the giveaway with a $10 Steam gift card, which can be spent on whatever you like.

Entering is quick and simple as well, as all you need to do is wishlist the Steam game Ocean Keeper, a roguelike you’ll soon be able to play on PC and Steam Deck, that’s also the sponsor of the giveaway.

Then you just need to follow Free Steam Games and retweet plus like the post which should automatically enrol you into the giveaway.

Entries close on 22 July, upon which three random winners will be selected and sent one of the gift cards.

Obviously your chances of winning are pretty slim, but there’s no harm in giving it a go to see if you get lucky.

If you’re looking to add several new Steam games to your library without any strings attached though worry not, as there are plenty of freebies knocking around the online storefront for you to pick from.

Steam isn’t the only place you can bag some freebies either, Amazon is also handing out free titles like Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League and you can also find some new games on the Epic Games Store and itch.io.
