Steam free store credit available for you to grab before the New Year

With 2024 right around the corner, it's the perfect time to make a special resolution. Personally, I enjoy video games so I'm... going to keep playing video games. Easy.

I invite you to do the same. And, as luck would have it, Steam users can currently grab themselves $5 of free store credit, which might not sound like much, but free is free. Right? Right.

The excellent Free Steam Games Twitter account has highlighted a new $5 store credit giveaway. It's worth noting this is a totally legit account that does giveaways like this constantly, so don't be afraid that you're being pulled into a con.

To get involved in this latest giveaway, all you have to do is follow the steps outlined in this tweet. A winner will be selected 31 December, so you really don't have very long at all.

Another similar giveaway ends on 31 December, except in this one you can win $20. Fans of math will know $20 is objectively better than $5, so why not try your luck and enter both?
