
There’s an argument to be made that dragons make every game better. Shove a dragon in there, and you’ve got a lot of happy gamers.
It’s simple science, probably. So, it stands to reason that a game with ‘dragon’ in the title, soon hitting early access on Steam, is one we should be looking at.

I had no idea this game existed until about five minutes before writing this, but when my editor told me the game gave him big Diablo IV vibes, I had to go and have a peek.
He wasn’t wrong. Big skill trees, chunky characters running around an isometric landscape launching vast attacks on gnarly bosses, it’s all here.
The fact that there are so many dragons only makes it better, and gives off major Skyrim feels, too.
There’s a free demo available - I’ve got it downloading as I type this up - and if you’re a fan of RPGs, it’s probably worth adding this to your wishlist.

There are three heroes available to start with, but Nacon and the developer, Eko Software, have set out a great roadmap for the rest of this year.
The launch will feature the prologue and first chapter of the story, then you’ll have some grindy mid-game content to get through as the game receives updates.
How good does this sound? “Dive into Dragonkin: The Banished, a world corrupted by the blood of dragons, where evil creatures rise from the entrails of the earth.”
With some pretty massive skill trees, you’ll be able to min-max your hero and get some diabolical builds running.

If it shapes up to be as good as it sounds from the Steam page, this could be another ARPG for fans of the genre.
