Steam users have a God Of War freebie to claim for the series’ 20th anniversary, and dare I say Kratos has never looked better.
It’s wild to think the God Of War series is over 20 years old now, and it’s still going strong with another game on the way, though we’re at a loss as to which mythology Kratos will be tearing through next…
Things ended pretty well in God Of War Ragnarok, with Kratos embracing his role as a God Of Hope rather than a God Of War
Fear not though I’m sure things will hit the fan sooner or later, forcing our angry boy to let his spartan rage out once again.

For now though why not enjoy some new freebies to celebrate the series’ anniversary, available for Steam and PlayStation users right now.
It’s a new cosmetic set for Kratos in God Of War Ragnarok, which includes the Dark Odyssey Kratos Appearance, as well as the Dark Odyssey Armor Set. The armour set includes the Dark Odyssey Breastplate, Dark Odyssey Bracers, and Dark Odyssey Belt.
The cosmetics are inspired by an unlockable skin for Kratos in God Of War II, and matches another unlockable skin that gives Kratos his OG trilogy look earnt from completing the God Of War Valhalla DLC.
As a Steam exclusive though, some anniversary freebies have been added to the Steam Point Shop, going live later today 20 March, basically avatars and the like. PlayStation users will apparently get a free PSN avatar too.

Steam users and PlayStation users can claim them now, for free, but of course you need a copy of the game to use the in-game freebies.
Here’s to another 20 years of God Of War, and hopefully we hear some news on the next game in the reboot trilogy soon.
