Steam users have a very cosy game to try for free this week, possibly one of the cosiest games we’ve ever played.
We all love a Steam freebie and this month there’s quite a lot on offer from AAA game demos to just straight-up free titles.
If I had to pick one to recommend though it’d be the demo for Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza In Hawaii, it’s a blast and you’ll love it
As much as I’d love to go on and on about Yakuza though, the game we’re talking about today is called Spilled! and it’s coming out later this month.

The game’s description reads: “Clean up ocean waste in this short & relaxing game! Recycle, earn coins and upgrade your boat. Explore new areas. Clean bigger spills and different kinds of waste!”
If I had to compare it to other games I’d say it’s a bit like if Dredge crossed over with Dave The Diver, oh wait, that actually happened…nevertheless the point still stands.
Either way that’s the gist of it, as it’s a game about patrolling the waters in a bot and cleaning up pollution, who knows what goodies you’ll find amongst the waste though.
There’s a free demo available to play right now which should give you a good idea of what the full game is like, and whether you want to buy it when it’s out.

Fortunately if you do like what you play you won’t have to wait long for the full release, as Spilled! has a launch date of 26 March, very soon.
If it’s not your cup of tea though, there are plenty of good games out at the moment, such as Monster Hunter Wilds or Pirate Yakuza as I mentioned earlier. There’s bound to be something you’d like to play this year.
