We bring more news, this time of six more free Steam games you can download right now, should your pile of to-play games not be big enough already.
It’s been a wild year for gaming. Although a lot of focus has been on newly released AAAs like Starfield and Baldur’s Gate 3, there have been smaller indie releases also. Then we’ve got all those wonderful freebies that keep popping up on Game Pass, PS Plus, and Steam – basically, there’s almost too much content to play through.

But we’re not quitters, so we’re going to give it our all. If you’re up for the challenge too, the Twitter account Free Steam Games has recently posted about six more free titles gracing us with their presence. As always, the genres included are quite diverse, in an attempt to cater to as many tastes and interests as possible.

Here’s the full list:
We’ll admit, this collection isn’t quite as exciting as previous offerings from Steam, but there are some delights still to be found here, like with Little Shrimp: Legend Reborn. With a pixel-art style and “open-world concept”, this RPG is a charming experience that has garnered “mostly positive” reviews.
If you prefer to shoot your way through a game, you might want to try Earth’s Greatest Defender. This 2D, pixelated platformer is a “passion project” from an indie dev; it’s got guns, aliens, and some challenging exploration puzzles to solve if you’re to find that final teleporter. It’s no GOTY, but it doesn’t need to be to be fun.

Hold onto your hats, folks, as we’ve saved the best til last: Pirate Fighting Simulator. Although Free Steam Games mentions this title, the link provided takes you to the wrong game. Despite this issue, we can confirm that Pirate Fighting Simulator is free to download, and that it has “very positive” reviews. It’s a “very silly game” that many are claiming is better than Sea of Thieves.
Make sure to check out these six free Steam games asap, if for nothing other than to don your silly hat and go pirating with the lads on the open seas.
