You know the drill by now.
A new batch of free-to-play titles have landed on Steam, and I’m here to guide you through what’s on offer.
Thank you, as always, to SteamGamesPC for bringing these to our attention.

Let’s begin with Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium.
Developed by MICA Team, this one’s a turn-based strategy game where players will command squads of androids, referred to in-game as T-Dolls.
It’s a sequel to Girls’ Frontline but I wouldn’t worry too much if you haven’t played that prior instalment.
The gameplay loop is pretty simple. Using firearms and melee weapons, you’ll need to survive enemy waves, complete evacuations, and capture strategic points.

There are gacha mechanics at play in this one when it comes to the T-Dolls you can acquire for your team, so do keep that in mind.
If you prefer autobattlers, there’s Beaveroid Entertainment’s Alpha League HD.
In this one, you will “choose your favorite hero, build your heroes with 12 different combat genres, and adjust your strategy corresponding to 10+ different maps. There is also drafting and artifacts involved”.
It’s hard to categorise this next game. Perhaps casual or platformer might do.

LN’s No Throwing will see you assume the role of a small robot who must keep hitting falling items to protect a coop of chickens. Yes, that’s all there is to it.
Marvel Rivals is the most popular free-to-play release in recent memory.
RPG fans may enjoy Sacred of Gates: Tinder which, no, has nothing to do with the dating app.

This one will see you embark on a journey through “enchanting Norse landscapes”.
I’ll be honest, both the trailers and description are pretty light on any combat details so I can’t exactly tease what you might be able to expect; there is character customisation though.
Next up is Let’s Play Jigsaw Puzzles, which perhaps has niche appeal - and I say that as someone who adores jigsaws. I just prefer the real thing.
Developed by Tiny Little Lion, this one will allow you to complete a number of virtual puzzles.

Yan Massoni Game Studio brings us Crazlipse, a zombie shooter.
“CRAZLIPSE is a game where officer Stefan Vincenzo uncovers a zombie apocalypse at the Starry Sky Tree. After meeting scientist Matheus, he’s teleported to a zombie-infested zone to survive and fight,” the description reads.
Finally, let’s round things out with Hidden Arcade: Hundreds of Ghosts.
If you hadn’t guessed, this one’s an adorable hidden item game from indie devs Lemon Pohl and Leonie Droege.
The ghosts are hidden throughout cosy arcade-inspired worlds and honestly, this one looks like such a delight.
All of the above titles are available to enjoy now.
