Steam drops over 48 free downloads in huge limited-time giveaway

If only there were some way I could automate this article

There’s a metric tonne of free Steam downloads available right now as part of their latest Steam Fest, but how many are actually worth trying?

That’s right folks, the Steam Automation Fest is here, and it’s brought a whole slew of free demos along with it.

Uh, in fact, there are so many free demos that I’m not quite sure if it would be humanly possible to go through them all, so instead I’m gonna hit you with a few highlights.

But first up, make sure you pick up your free items from Valve in The Points Shop if you're a fan of fancy-looking avatars.

This time around, the profile items on offer are the Pick and Place animated avatar, the Conveyor Carry avatar frame, and the Parcel Pass animated sticker. These disappear forever once the Steam Fest is over, so hurry up and nab them now before you miss your chance.

Alright, onto the game recommendations.

First up, Tunnet from developer and publisher puzzled_squid.

This one actually isn't new, as the game released back in December of 2023. However, I wanted to include it for the review score alone. 98% of players gave this a positive score, and the game is currently 50% off during the Steam Fest too. Give the demo a whirl, safe in the knowledge that you’ll be paying only £2.49 for the full game if you love it.

Next up, Cubetory from developer and publisher thatcodingguy.

Honestly, I just think this one looks super cute. More importantly though, the reviews are super positive, with 95% of players giving it a positive score.

And finally, Glintland from developer and publisher itengy Games.

This one doesn't actually have a review consensus yet, and the full game isn't even out yet, but I've had my eye on it for a while. Something about automating your village with magic just tickles my fancy. Hopefully the full release lives up to my expectations.

And that’s all I’ve got for you today, but make sure to give the full list a browse in case anything catches your eye.
