Steam’s freebies collection just received an upgrade.
PC gamers are now able to claim three free downloads, each of which offers a different experience to gamers.
Before we delve deeper into what’s on offer here, we want to make it clear that these free downloads aren’t full games but demos.

If you’d prefer a full release for free, you need to look elsewhere – like this new free game that’s rocketed to the top of Steam’s charts.

Assuming you’re still here, let’s take a closer look at the newly added demos.

The Alters is an “emotional sci-fi" experience scheduled to launch in early 2025. Despite no specific date being given, initial reports praise the game for its “insane” gameplay.
The next demo available is EA SPORTS FC 25.
When you take a gander at its Steam page, you’ll note that few of the reviews are positive ones.
Still, if you’re an avid footie fan, it’s worth taking the risk to see if you’ll enjoy it.

“Hit the pitch in Kick-Off with a selection of the world’s biggest clubs, or team up with friends online for 5-a-side glory in Clubs Rush and improve your Pro up to capped level.”
As for the last demo that’s been added, that’s none other than Preface: Undiscovered World.
This is yet another demo that’s been negatively rated by players, yet it’ll give you a fantastic introduction to the new “groundbreaking technology” being used to create Playunknown Productions’ next title.
Even if you don’t enjoy your experience, it’ll cost you nothing to find out. We consider that a win even if you don’t.

All three of these free downloads are available right now.
Some of them will tickle your fancy while others may leave you with a sour taste in your mouth. But what is gaming without taking risks? Boring, that’s what.
