Steam users can play two games at no additional cost this weekend, only this weekend though.
I’m sure everyone is familiar with a free-to-play weekend by now, I certainly am since Xbox regularly hand out freebies to try at the end of the week.
Star Wars Outlaws launches later this month folks, check out our preview for the game below
Now it’s Steam’s turn to hand out the freebies though, alongside all the free games it already has to offer.

For a limited-time only you’ll be able to play Hunt: Showdown 1896 and Need For Speed: Unbound for free, though you won’t have long though.
The description for Hunt reads: “Hunt: Showdown 1896 is a new era of the addictively unforgiving extraction shooter. In corrupted backwaters lost to history, fight back alone – or with friends – against timeless evil. Twisted monsters and other ruthless Hunters stand between you and your Bounty. Risk everything as Hunt consumes you.”
The description for Need For Speed: Unbound reads: “Race to the top, definitely don’t flop. Outsmart the cops, and enter weekly qualifiers for The Grand: the ultimate street race. Pack your garage with precision-tuned, custom rides, and light up the streets with your style.”
Both games have pretty unfavourable review scores on Steam, which is probably why they’re freebies right now, but they’re still worth a go, especially since it’ll cost you nothing to play them.

On the off-chance you do enjoy what you play and fancy playing a bit more, both titles are currently discounted, with you saving 20% on Hunt: Showdown 1896 and a whopping 90% on Need For Speed: Unbound.
Both are pretty generous offers, but it’ll be up to you if you want to make them permanent residents in your game library.
Either way, don't miss out on this opportunity to play two decent games at no additional cost, only this weekend.
