This very morning, a new demo has landed on Steam and it’s already skyrocketed to the top of the trending demo charts, which certainly bodes well for the full release.
That game is Groovy MOAI’s upcoming multiplayer survival horror Dungeon Done, with its blend of scares in a medieval fantasy world making it feel like the lovechild of Skyrim and Resident Evil.
You’ll operate in teams of up to six players, entering a series of dungeons in order to scavenge the treasures they hold.

Naturally, you won’t be alone in those dungeons.
They’re plagued by a wide array of terrifying creatures, from Demogorgon-esque entities to spider-like wraiths.
Every corner of these dungeons will boast a unique treasure for you to find, but the more ambitious you are in your treasure hunting, the greater threat you’ll likely face.
The synopsis also teases that “not all treasures may be real”.

Does that mean we’re set to be lured into traps? I shudder at the thought.
Take a look at Dungeon Done in action in the trailer below.
Even those you thought were reliable companions might turn out to be monsters … so while relying on your teammates is of utmost importance, so too should you keep an eye out for any unusual differences.

As I said, a free demo has launched today and it’s already in just a few hours proving to be very popular on Steam.
Luckily, those who have enjoyed the demo don’t have long to wait as the full game is set to release in late 2024.
Reviews compare Dungeon Done to Lethal Company, with players adding that the monsters are “scarier than expected”.
“I played with two friends, so there were three of us, and we barely managed to escape, it was really challenging. There was a funny moment where the monster fell into a trap, but my friend fell in with it and died lol,” read one review, easily securing my interest in the game.

The demo is available now, and sounds like it’s well worth giving a go.
