If you’re a fan of horror and survival games, then you might want to check this title that can be described as Resident Evil meets Valheim.

When a survival game arrives that takes the video game industry by storm such as the aforementioned Valheim as well as Minecraft, Rust and Ark: Survival Evolved, we get to see just how popular this genre is with near-unavoidable content on platforms such as YouTube and Twitch.

Check out the VEIN trailer below!

Then, when you throw in a heavy dose of horror, you’re going to get a game that will cater to a new audience that may never otherwise have an interest in the genre. One such game could be the upcoming VEIN, developed and published by the indie team, Ramjet Studios which you can play for free right now.

“VEIN is a post-apocalyptic survival multiplayer sandbox game. Gather supplies to survive, explore abandoned buildings, combat bandits, defend your home, assist friendly NPCs, and rebuild society, whether alone or with friends,” reads the synopsis on Steam.

However, not only is the demo available to see if VEIN is the game for you but the developers have encouraged those who play it to provide valuable feedback on its Steam forum to help shape the final version of the game.

Judging by the developer diaries on the VEIN YouTube channel, it’s clear that the game is still in its early stages of development but the potential is there to see.

“Don't ever stop updating this guys! This is gonna be the best survival game ever given enough time,” said donniepierce2293.

“It’s getting better and better with every update,” TobiCreates commented.

“Epic update, keep it up and good luck with this project,” replied NikyPerceaYOUTB.

At the time of writing, VEIN does not have a release date but hopefully, it will arrive at some point next year, at the latest. In the meantime, it’s worth wishlisting it on Steam to be notified of its launch.
