After learning that the Hogwarts Legacy DLC is delayed – boo, hiss – we’re looking for other ways to keep the magic alive. Thankfully, there’s another whimsical DLC we can invest our time in instead.
Since its launch, those of us not playing Hogwarts Legacy on a PlayStation 5 have been counting down the days until we get the ‘Haunted Hogsmeade’ DLC. And counting. And counting some more.
Earlier this month, we learned that one of the greatest missions of the entire game was delayed until summer. Understandably, fans weren’t impressed by this news, and while there are other ways to still enjoy the game, the lack of new content has soured the experience somewhat.

Don't forget to see the magic for yourselves in the Escape Simulator: Magic DLC trailer
To find the magic again, there’s the Escape Simulator: Magic DLC.
Despite the underwhelming name, this expansion really is magical from what we can see. Escape Simulator is a hugely popular Steam game that hasn’t disappointed many; its very positive reviews are testament to that fact.

Hailed as a “fun game” that’ll make you feel smart even if you lack common sense, there’s no reason to believe that the Magic DLC will be any different. It looks filled to the brim with fantastical locations, intriguing puzzles, and not a hint of claustrophobia dogging its brightly lit rooms.
To relish succeeding where others have failed, you’ll need to purchase the base game of Escape Simulator for the DLC to work. What is more, the Magic DLC isn’t out yet. However, you haven’t got long before this PC expansion hits Steam – 22 February, it’s only days away!
“Embrace your magic potential, and follow in the footsteps of great witches and wizards! First, grab your equipment in the mysterious magic shop... From there go onward to the school of magic where three more classes await your mastery!”
We’ll be enrolling, will you?
