'GTA 6' Steam page appears after being pulled from PlayStation Store

Grand Taking Ages VI returns

Uh oh, it’s happened again.

You may recall that back in December, a game by the name of Grand Taking Ages VI surfaced on the PlayStation Store, clearly spoofing GTA VI and the long wait that fans have had to endure.

It won’t come as a surprise when I tell you that the listing was swiftly pulled.

While Grand Taking Ages VI may have been a pretty low budget GTA VI clone, it was a clone nonetheless - and there’s no messing with Rockstar Games.

Except that apparently there is, as developer Violarte is trying their hand at publishing the game once more with a Steam listing having now appeared for the title, advertising a July 2025 release.

You’re probably not going to want to add the now-titled Grand Taking Ages to your wishlist though as there’s a lot that’s suspicious surrounding this title.

As GAMINGbible’s Lewis Parker previously pointed out, a trip to developer Violarte’s website pulls up a bunch of fake games and awards, seemingly AI-generated.

References are made to publishers Whoopee Games and Strider Games but switching over to those sites brings up a page identical to Violarte’s, featuring the same bogus information.

The real GTA VI is scheduled to land later this year.

This trail of deception continues leading to other sites from studios by the names of Lyanda Games, Chazzwazza Games, Logia Games, Hexpion Studio and TrueMyth Games.

It’s all very, very odd. If Grand Taking Ages is real, I’ll be shocked.

The game supposedly revolves around an indie developer who rises through the ranks, tackling “impossible deadlines, mysterious bugs, and the ever-present temptation to add just one more feature."

You can see how tongue-in-cheek this all is.

You’ll face battles with journalists and “keyboard warriors”, design the perfect workspace, and master the art of development.

As I said, the release date is listed as July 2025 with the added note that the game is “actually releasing before October 2025”.

I think it’s far more likely we see the page pulled before then.
