If you’re a fan of Call of Duty and want something to keep you busy until GTA VI arrives, then look no further than this new FPS.
It’s fair to say that Grand Theft Auto and Call of Duty, are two of the biggest properties in the video game industry with each new release hogging tons of attention across social media. Sure, we have to wait years for a new entry in the GTA series, but that only helps to build fan excitement.
Check out the Outlawed trailer below!
GTA VI was officially revealed by Rockstar Games in December 2023 and at the time of writing, it’s expected to launch at the end of this year. That being said, Rockstar Games is not scared of delays, so it wouldn't be surprising if we’re waiting until 2026 for GTA VI.

As for the Call of Duty series, we’ve seen a release almost every year and it’s likely only a matter of time until Activision announces the next entry with some rumours claiming that it could be Modern Warfare IV.
So, if you were after something to help pass the time until GTA VI and the next Call of Duty arrives, then you might want to check out this upcoming Steam game that you can download and play right now for free on PC.
The game in question is Outlawed by the indie team at Okami Studio and looks to bring the chaos of Call of Duty and GTA Online. Granted, this is courtesy of a free playable demo but you can get an early sip to see if Outlawed is your cup of tea.
“Outlawed is a crime-themed PvPvE first-person extraction shooter, set in a modern city overrun by gangs. Enter solo or with a squad to challenge powerful enemies, search for riches, and use everything at your disposal to make it out alive,” reads the description of the game.

It remains to be seen whether Outlawed will be enough to keep us entertained for the long term but I guess we’ll find out when it’s released on 13 March 2025.
