If you adore Harry Potter but feel like it’s missing the allure of espionage, this free download is just what you’re looking for.
As fantastical as Harry Potter is, there are times when all fans want to do is go undercover in search of sinister crime syndicates. We’ve all thought this, of course.
Turns out, someone realised that there was a gap in the market and created Secret Agent Wizard Boy and the International Crime Syndicate.

While the Steam demo has been available since October 2024, the full game isn’t ready just yet.
Though with its March 2025 deadline looming, we don’t have much longer to wait.
Unlike in the series this game is inspired by, Voldemort isn’t the villain of the piece – it’s Grumblemort.
See for yourselves what kind of mischief you can get up to in Secret Agent Wizard Boy and the International Crime Syndicate
Whether related to he-who-must-be-named or not, Grumblemort isn’t an enemy easily outsmarted.

“Secret Agent Wizard Boy is going undercover again to topple the international crime syndicate run by Grumblemort. He must use his wits to infiltrate Grumblemort's wizarding school and crack the evil vault deep within the castle.”
It’s a big mission and undoubtedly one that only Wizard Boy can deal with.
That being said, you could also ignore the evil within the castle and choose to cause “havoc and destruction” instead.
“A hilarious mix of PS1 nostalgia, self aware jank, and brain rot,” described one of many satisfied gamers on Steam.

This free download, as you may have already guessed, is for a demo of the title rather than the full experience.
Another PC user said how they “can’t wait” for the title to be released.
On YouTube, the praise continues.
User @m.a.buigues3310 posted, “I had so much fun playing the demo!! I'm waiting to see more of this project.”

What better way to prepare for upcoming mayhem than to play through this wacky demo?
It’s free. It’s fun. And it’s got magic. There’s nothing else you could want from a sandbox experience.
