In what is one of the most underrated games in the Ubisoft series, Assassin’s Creed III finally gets a long-awaited update that fans have waited years for.
Originally released in 2012 on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, Assassin’s Creed III starring Ratonhnhaké:ton aka Connor is one of the most underappreciated games in the popular Ubisoft series but I do believe fans have eventually begun giving this game the love it deserves in recent years.

“The American Colonies, 1775. It’s a time of civil unrest and political upheaval in the Americas. As a Native American assassin fights to protect his land and his people, he will ignite the flames of a young nation’s revolution,” reads the synopsis of the game. “Assassin’s Creed III takes you back to the American Revolutionary War, but not the one you’ve read about in history books.”

Nowadays it’s taken for granted that we’ll earn in-game achievements/trophies for completing certain objectives and milestones in video games. Well, apart from Nintendo. For some reason, Nintendo seems scared of this feature but I digress.
The aforementioned Assassin’s Creed III has given gamers achievements and trophies since its inception. That is apart from the PC version on Steam.
Yet, as brought to our attention by Comicbook.com (via Steam), you can now earn Steam achievements with Assassin’s Creed III/Remastered, its Tyranny of King Washington expansion as well as Assassin’s Creed Liberation.
“Complete challenges and unlock achievements as you journey through Connor’s epic story. Whether you're a completionist or casually exploring the frontier, there's something for everyone to aim for,” reads a Steam blog post.

What’s more, if you’ve already achieved qualifying objectives and milestones in-game, achievements will unlock retroactively after your progress has been synced with Steam.
Assassin’s Creed III is out now on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo.
