An ultra-modded version of Starfield is the exact right way to play the game, as it looks jaw-droppingly gorgeous.
Despite getting positive reviews from critics the user-reviews for Starfield tore the game apart, as many compared it to previous Bethesda titles but without the magic that made games like Skyrim and Fallout so good.
The game could turn things around though with the Shattered Space expansion, which you can see below
Whether Shattered Space is enough to claw fans back to the game is yet to be seen, but while players on Xbox have pretty much moved on, PC players are still getting their fair share of enjoyment out of it.

This is mostly due to mods, as when you find the right combination it transforms Starfield into a very different game, and more often than not a better one.
We’d urge you to take a look at a YouTube video by Digital Dreams, which features gameplay of Starfield running with over 300 mods installed.
As you’d expect it’s running at a crystal clear resolution, with more frames per second than we’d care to count, and the players’ character even puts on a wide variety of Mandalorian armour from Star Wars.
Now of course you’d need a monstrous PC to fully recreate this version of the game on your own hardware, but it should at least give you some ideas of how you could improve your game.

This is only scratching the surface of the game’s potential too, as there\s a wide variety of mods that alter the gameplay mechanics as well, not just make the game prettier on the eyes.
As you can expect fans of the game were impressed, and if you’d like to try your hand at achieving the same graphical fidelity in your own version of the game, you can find some of the mods used in the video’s description.
