As unusual as it is to see the words “roasted by fans” and “Red Dead Redemption” in the same sentence, the franchise is indeed facing some interesting flak from its fandom.
Most of us champion Red Dead Redemption for being such a detailed Rockstar game. Despite it being six years old now, we’re still discovering hidden bosses and neat horse tricks.
However, as fans look to the future of this Rockstar Games series, they’re playing fast and loose with the worst case scenario of what could happen next.

We'll stick with the outlaw life in Red Dead Redemption 2, if it's all the same with you
In a post by Independent_Tea_, the aim of the game is to “Make the worst RDR3 sequel you can”. Naturally, Reddit is doing its thing and being as cursed as possible.
Buckle up, because this is about to get uncomfortably weird.

One suggestion, from UncensoredSmoke, says, “Jack in 1950, he’s a crack addict, the whole game is about him joining the mob just to get more crack, and at the end of the game he sees a hallucination of Micah, and f**king kills himself.”
Off to a strong start.
Whilst trawling deeper, we find a pretty depressing tale waiting to unfold from Stormpoopers246. “You play as the girl who dies at the black water massacre, and then you play as her daughter who dies in Red Dead 1’s black water mission with Dutch,” they suggest.
Others don’t delve into their imagination to paint a bleak picture, but instead use the reality of setting the next game too far in the future.

User PIERObarza said, “Tbh any story that has to deal with what happened to Jack after RDR1. Due to the setting having to be at some point after 1914, the game would be a Western in name only.”
None of this sounds appealing, though that was the aim of the game in the first place. Not Rockstar’s game, but Reddit’s.
We hopefully won’t have to face a real roast about the sequel by fans in the near future; we’re not strong enough to deal with that.
