It's unfair to say that replying Red Dead Redemption 2 ever gets boring. However, while it doesn't bore us to tears, its predictability can leave us longing for something... more. This is where a new free mode helps to livens thing up again.
Think of this Red Dead Redemption 2 mod as New Game Plus option, something that Rockstar Games neglected to include when creating this iconic masterpiece. We know some of you are already looking ahead to Red Dead Redemption 3 with Charles Smith as your lead, but all that hoping and praying won't make the game arrive any faster. Why waste precious gaming time pondering all the 'what ifs' when you could be riding back into the joy (and pain) of Arthur Morgan's life.
This unofficial way of unlocking NG+ has been created by sezzco over at NexusMods, as leginitmately as possible – it's something the modder is quick to emphasise in their description of the free mode.
Advert
"Disclaimer!!!" it begins, "I couldn’t get everything [included] because it will break the game; I did everything as legit as possible so the game won’t break. I put everything you need in the Inventory so you can complete Item Request, Craft Talisman/Trinkets. DON’T sell or discard if you don’t want to collect them again."
We appreciate their candour, though it isn't necessary considering how much they have managed to pack into this mod. Here's a brief overview of what's included (the full list can be found on the 'Red Dead Redemption 2 New Game Plus' page):
- Level 10 Beard
- All Cores Maxed
- Coffee Percolator, Pocket Watch and Lock Breaker Owned
- Offhand Holster Unlocked
- All Clothes and Masks Owned
- All Trapper Clothes Owned (Except Legendary Animal Clothes)
- All Reinforced Equipment Owned (Except Master Hunter Holster)
- All Rare Hats and Melee Weapons Collected
- Otis Miller Revolver Collected (In Weapon Locker)
That's already a considerable amount of NG+ goodies, but then there's more features unlocked in the map and collectibles. If you're feeling up to venturing out into the Wild West again, this RDR2 mod is the way to do it.
