Pokémon fans hyped as new free game becomes instant hit

Pokémon fans hyped as new free game becomes instant hit

It took off overnight

Remember the hype surrounding Pokémon GO? Well, this new free game looks set to become an even bigger hit.

Pokémon TCG, while having many devoted fans already, isn’t considered the easiest experience to become involved with.

Still, it hasn’t stopped fans from admiring the gorgeous artwork of the cards, or the drama of TCG battles.

Now however, there’s an easier way join in with the fun without needing to be a pro: Pokémon TCG Pocket.

Check out Pokémon TCG Pocket below

It brings the game to mobile in a bitesize way. And while the trick to getting rare cards is dividing players, the game itself isn’t.

Far from it, actually.

Within its first 48 hours of going live, the game was downloaded 10 million times worldwide.

Allow that staggering number to sink it for a moment.

Even for Pokémon, that’s quite a milestone to hit, especially in such a short amount of time.

If you’ve yet to experience Pokemon TCG Pocket for yourselves, it’s free to download on both iOS and Android.

However, just because the game is free doesn’t mean all its content is.

Similar to plenty of other mobile games, there are microtransactions involved; though, you don’t have to buy them unless you want to.

This isn’t the only new game for players to enjoy. Come December, there’ll be yet another way to catch ‘em all as the franchise returns in yet another new experience.

Pokémon fans are thriving right now. Thriving, I tell you.

Whether you’re still returning to Scarlet & Violet for Tera Raids, or you’re eagerly opening another virtual pack of cards in Pokémon TCG Pocket, there’s much to be excited about.

You can join the 10 million who’ve already downloaded the new game, or you can wait to learn more about it before you commit.

Just know that you’re missing out on the sweet satisfaction that comes from tearing open a new pack, curious to see what’s inside.
