We’ve all been there. You open up PlayStation Plus in search of something new to play.

Developed by TaleWorlds Entertainment, Bannderlord is the prequel to Mount & Blade: Warband, plus it acts as a standalone expansion to the 2008 Mount & Blade.
All of this to say that no, you don’t need to have played a previous Mount & Blade entry in order to hop into Bannerlord.

You’ll need to raise armies, craft weapons, recruit supporters, manage your army, trade in materials, and make political decisions.
You’ll want your clan to gain the respect of the nobility of Calradia if you are to succeed.
You can play from a first or third person perspective during battles, with a skill-based direction combat system.
Don’t just take my word for it when I say that it’s a great game.
