You don’t have long to wait until we find out what’s joining PlayStation Plus’ extra and premium tiers this month as the announcement is set to land tomorrow.
Then again, with Sony’s PlayStation 5 Pro presentation due to be held later today, it stands every chance that Sony could announce the PS Plus line-up early, or late, sending things into total disarray.
September’s essential tier games are currently available to download.

In case you’ve yet to check them out, those are day one launch Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions as well as Little Nightmares II, and MLB The Show 24.
We know that this month’s extra tier drop will include The Plucky Squire, yet another day one launch and one I’m very excited to check out.
The remainder of the line-up hasn’t yet been confirmed but we do have an idea of what’ll soon be leaving the service.
Let’s just say that subscribers aren’t exactly happy about the potential losses.

Take a look at Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions in action below.
These predictions come from Reddit user kayrakaanonline but before you question the validity of a random internet user, I’d like to inform you that kayrakaanonline has been correct about the departing games on multiple occasions.
You see, most games depart PlayStation Plus due to expiring licenses so with a keen eye, you can work out what’s likely to leave based on how long games have been on the service.

Games are typically licensed for standardised windows such as six months, 12 months, or 18 months.
With that in mind, kayrakaanonline points out that the following titles are now reaching the 12 month mark: Gotham Knights, Disco Elysium: The Final Cut, Dead Island Definitive Edition, Outlast 2, and Elite Dangerous.
Additionally, the following have now been on the service for 18 months: Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Doom: Eternal, Riders Republic, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, Slay the Spire, Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom, Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, Paradise Killer, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, and Dishonored: Definitive Edition.
All of the above are therefore in the danger zone, and I’d hate to see some of them leave.

It’s also believed that GTA: San Andreas will depart given that Red Dead Redemption 2 only stayed for three-months during its last appearance.
Tales of Kenzera: Zau is also reaching the six month mark, a point in which fellow EA titles have departed.
Somehow, Dave The Diver and Animal Well are also already at the six month mark too and given I’m partway through both, I really hope they’re not culled.
We should receive confirmation in the coming week or so but the fact that so many bangers are up for the chop is concerning.
