PlayStation Plus casually drops 190 hour game that could take over your life

Yesterday saw Sony announce the latest batch of games which will be heading to the PlayStation Plus library.

Seven brand-new titles are set to be added to the PlayStation Plus Extra tier on Tuesday 17 June and if you find yourself with some spare time, I have the perfect recommendation for how you could spend it as just one of this month's titles racks in at around 190 hours to complete.

Alongside games such as Battlefield 2042, Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2, We Love Katamari Reroll+ Royal Reverie, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, Endless Dungeon, and Train Sim World 5, theHunter: Call of the Wild is also available.

theHunter: Call of the Wild is a 2016 “hunting game like no other”.

Set in a stunning realistic open-world, players will have the opportunity to take on the single-player campaign or team up with friends in a deeply immersive experience. Roam freely across meticulously crafted environments and explore a diverse range of regions and biomes, each with its own unique flora and fauna,” the official synopsis reads.

“Experience the intricacies of complex animal behaviour, dynamic weather events, full day and night cycles, simulated ballistics, highly realistic acoustics, and scents carried by the wind.”

You will be able to choose between a variety of weapons, ammunition and equipment as you hunt diverse wildlife including: Jackrabbits, Mallard Ducks, Black Bears, Elk, and Moose.

“Developed in close collaboration with the community, theHunter: Call of the Wild offers a wealth of paid and free content, including reserves, hunting equipment, weapon packs, and trophy lodges. With new content and updates regularly added, players can look forward to a constantly evolving experience.”

As mentioned, theHunter: Call of the Wild will reportedly take around 190 hours to complete so if you want a new game to sink all your time into, this will be perfect for you.
