PlayStation Plus users warned they've one last chance to grab a ton of free games

PlayStation Plus users warned they've one last chance to grab a ton of free games

Going, going, gone!

The PlayStation Plus last chance saloon is open once more, but you’ve got to be quick if you want to play these games before they leave.

Every time a wave of new free games come our way, it proves to be a bittersweet experience.

On the one hand, it keeps PlayStation Plus fresh, on the other, we lose out on games we love.

With August’s free batch of games already available, we need to start planning ahead if we’re to clear our to-play backlog.

We wish we could experience the Sea of Stars announcement trailer for the very first time again

PlayStation’s ‘Last Chance to Play’ has updated and added these experiences:

  • NBA 2K24: Kobe Bryant Edition
  • Need for Speed: Unbound
  • Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed
  • Spellforce III: Reforced
  • Trials of Mana
  • Lost Judgment
  • Moving out 2
  • Midnight Fight Express
  • Sea of Stars
  • Destroy All Humans! (2020)

“Kind of annoyed Lost Judgment is now showing as leaving so soon to the deadline,” said Redditor TurtleLad.

“I would've hopped on it right away. I guess I could rush the story in time for the 20th but that kind of goes against the nature of RGG games lol.”

They’re not the only ones upset that the end is nigh.

“I don't understand why they [PlayStation] are doing this, it's the second month where the list is updated a few weeks before the games leave,” said NepGDamn.

Another also voiced their frustration saying, “That sucks. Lost Judgment and Sea of Stars are both too long for me to play before they leave. Could have done it if it was announced at the start.”

Unfortunately, no amount of annoyance will change things; the outcome remains the same.

However, if you think you’re able to squeeze in a playthrough of one or two of these titles before they’re gone, now is the time to get started.
