Good things never last, eh?

One brilliant month of PlayStation Plus is then seemingly undone by a lacklustre one the following month.

It feels like an endless cycle we can’t escape.

We’re sorry to say that January, arguably the time when we need joyful entertainment the most, is shaping up to be a disappointing start to the year.

PlayStation Plus is potentially removing some absolute bangers, and with their removal goes our cheery spirit.

Seeing as LiS might be leaving, let's enjoy the Life is Strange Double Exposure trailer.

Be warned, seeing which games are likely leaving may cause a serious case of the Mondays no matter which day of the week you’re reading this on.

Redditor kayrakaanonline suggests that Resident Evil 2, Life is Strange and Life is Strange: Before the Storm, and Lego City Undercover are up for the chopping block.

Some of these predictions feel more likely to happen than others.

For example, the OP believes RE2 being removed is a given.

“This is definitely leaving. It's Capcom and Capcom always does one year deals with PS Plus. RE7 left Extra one year later too. If I was a betting man, I would bet on this,” they reasoned.

Similar arguments were used to explain why LiS is also leaving.

“It's clear that Square Enix loves two year deals. Kingdom Hearts games left at two years, Dragon Quest left at two years so why not Life is Strange as well?”

As you’d expect, fans are planning accordingly in case this comes to pass.

User ripreign shared, “Damn, thanks, cueing up Resident Evil 2 as my next game.”

Another gamer said, “Literally the only thing I didn't want to see on this list is Life is Strange and LiS Before the Storm...”

Tough break, buddy.

We’re all in for a rough ride come January, and not just because all the colours of Christmas have gone.
