A new month is fast approaching and despite that meaning that another batch of games will soon be arriving to PlayStation Plus, it also means that others will be leaving.

After all, being a PlayStation Plus subscriber is a bit like playing Russian Roulette as some months will feature some incredible, highly sought-after titles whilst others leave quite a lot to the imagination.

Despite not yet knowing which titles will be arriving in February, we do now know which games will be leaving the service courtesy of PSPlusUpdates over on r/PlayStationPlus.

Regularly posting to the Reddit channel and as a reliable source, we know that nine titles will be leaving the PlayStation Plus library on 17 February.

By leaving, this means that each title will be gone from the library-like subscription service and will no longer be playable from this date, even if you have downloaded them before.

“Obviously if you own them yourself by buying them before, they will still remain in your playable library,” the user assures.

So without further ado, the games leaving PS Plus in February are: Carto, Cult of the Lamb, New World: Aeternum, Rez Infinite, SaGa Frontier Remastered, Spirit of the North: Enhanced Edition, Super Neptunia RPG, The Ascent, and WWE 2K25.

With so many big titles on the chopping block, it is safe to assume that subscribers are less than pleased whilst others are using the opportunity to recommend some before they are gone.

“The Ascent is absolutely worth playing, especially if you have a friend to couch co-op with,” one user shared.

“The premise and the world building is awesome.”

Another agreed, adding, “Definitely recommend The Ascent!”

Sony Is Not In Our Good Books

In another Reddit thread, others were less than happy about the removal of New World: Aeternum.

“New World leaving is kind of a d**k move,” they shared.

“They could've let it be there until the servers went down next year.”

This is of course referring to the MMORPG whose servers will be shutting down permanently as of 31 January 2027, joining the ever-growing list of failed MMORPGs.

Although these nine games will be leaving the PS Plus service in less than a month, it may just give you enough incentive to check them out before it is too late.

I, for one, would recommend Cult of the Lamb if you have some people in your life who you would just like to see suffer.

The Ascent is perfect for playing with friends and of course, WWE 2K25 is for all of the sports game fans out there so there really is something for everyone.

Before it is too late.
