PlayStation players, Sony is laying out a feast for us; who are we to say no?
The latest 14 free games for June have been revealed. With that announcement comes news that one of the best open-world experiences we’ve played to date is joining PlayStation Plus.
Gamers need this win. Sony has been called out for “mocking” the Bloodborne fandom with one of its DLCs, and so we’re all eager for other news to take this bitter aftertaste away.

Remember the very first time we saw the Far Cry 6 teaser? Good times
One way we can do this is by playing Far Cry 4.
The Far Cry franchise has undeniably had its ups and downs; so much so that news of Far Cry 7’s departure from form has (momentarily) relieved fans.

Yet, after all these years, Far Cry 4 is still “absolutely gorgeous”, and so, why wouldn’t you want to return to its sun-kissed shores of mayhem?
Should you be new to the franchise and be uncertain of what awaits you, allow its synopsis to do the talking.
“Explore and navigate the vast open world of Kyrat, a country steeped in tradition and violence, where danger and unpredictability lurk around every corner.”
It continues, “You are Ajay Ghale. Traveling to Kyrat to fulfill your mother’s dying wish, you find yourself caught up in a civil war to overthrow the oppressive regime of dictator Pagan Min.”

You’ll go down paths you never expected, and be free to explore an open-world map that’s packed with intrigue, chaos, and, sometimes, a little bit of heart. Basically, it has it all!
If seeing Far Cry 4 back on PlayStation Plus feels like déjà vu, you’re not mistaken – this is a PS Plus re-release, as confirmed by Sony itself.
Maybe this will put you off, but we hope it doesn’t, for there’s always a reason (or several) to head back into this action-packed universe.
All 14 free games for June will become available from 18 June onwards, provided they weren’t part of the Days of Play. If they were, those titles will already be available.
