PlayStation Plus subscribers can get their hands on a cheeky little extra something for February: some bonus free store credit.
If you're already subscribed to PlayStation Plus, then you'll know what this month's free games are. As of earlier this week, you can currently download and play indie darling Rollerdrome, action-RPG Steel Rising, and brand-new online shooter Foamstars. Probably one of the most original months we've seen in a long time, and Foamstars is going down particularly well.
Check it out below!
What you might not know, however, is that you can actually claim some extra free store credit simply by playing this month's PlayStation Plus games. I'd imagine the fact you pay a monthly fee for these games is incentive enough to check them out, but now you have double incentive.

This free store credit is available via the PlayStation Stars rewards program, which launched back in 2022, and is completely free to use.
Once you sign up you can gain access to a bunch of rewards which are earned by playing select games. It may take a little time to earn free store credit through PlayStation Stars points, but it all adds up eventually.
Anyway, PlayStation Stars recently announced all the ways in which you can earn bonus points throughout February, and the latest is simple: play any one of PlayStation Plus' February games to net 50 points.
So there you go. If you weren't already planning on playing any of the games you are literally paying for, now you have a reason. Even if you don't care about the store credit, I just need you to know that Rollerdrome is an absolute blast that's well worth your time. I'm also reliably informed by colleagues that Foamstars is great fun, but I despise interacting with other people so will be unlikely to play with them any time soon.
