PlayStation Plus is about to lose a batch of banger RPGs, so you might want to finish at least one before it’s too late.
By now, whether you subscribe to PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass, customers of either service will be used to seeing their favourite games come and go, no matter how disappointing a particular exit might be.

Sometimes we can start a game on PlayStation Plus, get distracted and when we return to finish where we started, that opportunity has been missed because it’s no longer accessible in our library. It’s always wise to pick a game you like and blitz through it just in case.

On the flip side, if a game leaves that you’ve enjoyed but weren't able to finish, at least you know your money will be well spent, should you decide to make a standalone purchase.
While it offers much fewer games and incentives compared to PS Plus Extra and Premium, once a game is added to your library from the Essential tier, it will always be accessible with an active subscription. Whereas Extra and Premium games can come and go on rotation.
With that in mind, Reddit user MichaelWildeboer has shared what’s leaving PS Plus Extra and Premium in February 2025 and has even provided details on each game such as difficulty, length, and whether they have DLC or online Trophies.

As you can imagine, some PlayStation Plus subscribers are disappointed to see some of the games listed above leave the service.
“Damn. WHY am I only getting excited about games when they are leaving!” exclaimed RZL_13. “I'll start Scarlet Nexus today then I'll buy The Outer Worlds in the sales.”

“Is Sony trying to kill people's interest in RPGs?” replied johnwb388. “Most Final Fantasy games and now Tales are leaving, the free category is already very slim.”
“I literally just started Tales of Arise yesterday. Why must you do this to me, Sony?” asked a disgruntled the3rdemperor.
You still have a couple of weeks (or so) to finish any of the games above before they leave PlayStation Plus. So, what are you waiting for, get to it!
