In case you missed it, you can currently bag an excellent discount on PlayStation Plus memberships.
The best part is that this applies to both new and existing members, although if you’re an existing subscriber, the discount applies to tier-upgrades only. For example, upgrading to premium for the remainder of your subscription.
There are plenty of treats for PS Plus subscribers beyond discounted fees though. Sony has promised an “oversized” month of free offerings on the service.
That includes a surprise June freebie which has just been announced.

ICYMI: Dredge joins the extra tier today. Take a look at the game in action below.
From 3 June, all PlayStation Plus users - so that includes the essential, extra, and premium tiers - will gain access to a brand new Roblox pack that includes an avatar for Felix Freezebeard the Yeti.
I’m going to be honest, I don’t play Roblox. That means nothing to me, but I’m hoping that gaining it is an exciting prospect to at least some of you.

If not, don’t worry. There’s plenty more on offer.
The essential tier is gaining, from 4 June, SpongeBob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake, AEW Fight Forever, and Streets of Rage 4.
Moving onto the extra tier, subscribers can enjoy Dredge from today, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 on 31 May, Cricket 24 on 5 June and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - The Definitive Edition on 7 June.
The premium tier is perhaps gaining the biggest drop. From 6 June, the following PS VR2 titles will become available: Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord, Walkabout Mini Golf, Synth Riders, Before Your Eyes, and The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners - Chapters 1 & 2.
