PlayStation has announced its next batch of PlayStation Plus games, and there are some bangers included this time around.
These games will be dropping onto the subscription service next month, giving you something new to try just in time for the festive season.
Speaking of seasons, it's award season with the Game Of The Year awards coming up, and it looks like Astro Bot is going to sweep them all up…
The following games are joining the PlayStation Plus Extra lineup: Sonic Frontiers, Forspoken, Rabbids: Party of Legends, WRC Generations, F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch, Jurassic World Evolution 2, Coffee Talk, Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly, A Space for the Unbound, PHOGS, and Biped.

As a lifelong Sonic fan, Sonic Frontiers is the one I’m most excited about, and I’d highly recommend giving it a go especially if you enjoyed Sonic X Shadow Generations.
Forspoken might be worth a go too, as while it wasn’t well received at launch, it did have a few things going for it, so might as well take advantage while it can be played at no additional cost.
There are some great indie games on offer here as well, so they're worth checking out, even if just for a brief 30 minute taster session to get a feel for each title.
That’s not all that’s coming with the next PS Plus update either, as several games are being added to the Classics catalogue, only accessible through PlayStation plus Premium.

These include: Sly 2: Band of Thieves, Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves, Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy and Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge as a VR game.
The Sly Cooper games are fantastic so it's nice to see you can play the full set on PlayStation Plus now, and Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy is still a solid collectathon that holds up today, and is in dire need of a remake or something.
Don’t miss out on all of these fantastic titles, both modern and retro, joining the service next month on 17 December, just in time for Christmas.
