It’s arrived, the day we’ve all been waiting for; finally, we’re to learn of PlayStation’s upcoming plans.
Not regarding its console, but rather the games that are soon to be released (we hope).
PlayStation State of Play is almost upon us (it’s later today/tonight). As a result, all eyes are on the gaming possibilities that come with it.

One reveal we don't have to wait for is Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree tree.
This is the major update we’ve been longing for; to see if another Death Stranding 2 trailer will drop, or that a Bloodborne remake might finally be in the works.
Predictions are already coming thick and fast about what will be revealed.

On Twitter, @mrpyo1 shared a tweet detailing the potential titles we could see showcased, among them is Marvel's Spider-Man 2 DLC and a Ghost of Tsushima 2 reveal.
However, some games on that list are far more likely to appear than others.
As one fellow Twitter user put it, “Like 85% of this list is like coping/wish mode here.” I quite agree. GTA VI trailer two and Wolverine gameplay? Keep dreaming.
Although it’s a “great day for gaming”, we all know how easy it is to get swept up in the hype, only to be disappointed later on.

State of Play isn’t the only event happening either – The Marvelous Games Showcase is happening at the same time (3pm PT/11pm BST), followed by Silent Hill Transmission.
We will dine well tonight, even if the games announced aren’t exactly what we’ve been hoping for.
Although we can’t precisely predict what’s coming, it’s no word of a lie to say that Rockstar Games would do well to give fans what they want: that elusive second trailer for GTA VI. Fair to say though, that's almost certainly not going to happen tonight.
PlayStation has a lot of exciting updates to bestow on us today, we just hope we’ll be able to stay awake long enough to learn about them in real time.
