Who doesn't love some good PlayStation freebies that we can claim today? Well of course you do, otherwise, you probably wouldn't be here.
Being a member of the free PlayStation Stars rewards scheme certainly has its perks. For example, you can claim easy points simply by playing PS Plus games or purchasing games from the PlayStation Store, which can then be redeemed against free video games and store credit.

Other than free video games and store credit, you can also claim digital collectables. Some of those digital collectables can be claimed by completing PlayStation Stars campaigns while others can be acquired by spending reward points, such as the digital collectable that is the topic of today’s discussion.

Right now, you can redeem 800 reward points against digital enamel pins inspired by PlayStation icons from Ghost of Tsushima, God of War and Ratchet and Clank. Those pins, especially the Ratchet and Clank pin have received praise from PlayStation fans on Reddit.
In our review of Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, we said: “This is the sort of game that everyone can play and enjoy, and although it's a shooter through and through, it's not violently graphic and the storyline is lighthearted and easy to get along with. The world, characters, and gameplay are all gorgeous. It's maybe the most impressive game I have ever played.”
“I've bought all three so far, but I really hope they slow down if they're doing more. I can afford one more before I'm out of reward points,” replied iAmFabled on the Reddit thread in question. “Ok, I'll grab this one. I love Ratchet and Clank,” said amans9191.

I must say that all three pins available now via the free PlayStation mobile app courtesy of PS Stars are gorgeous, but as much as I like them, I’m not sure I’d redeem 800 points at the expense of free store credit. That being said, we’re all each to our own and we do what makes us happy.
The latest game in the Ratchet and Clank series is Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart available now on PC and PlayStation 5. It’s also included in PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium at no extra cost.
