PlayStation users can earn more in-store credit with some new challenges on PlayStation Stars.
These are a great way of racking up some quick and easy credit balances you can spend on PlayStation gift cards, though a recent change threw a spanner into the works when Sony restricted the gift card values you could redeem.
Have you played the demo for Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii yet? it's wild
Basically you can’t redeem gift cards worth any more than £10, which is a bit annoying but not a dealbreaker, the real issue is your point balance expiring if it’s not spent quickly enough.

If you want to increase your point balance quickly though there’s no better way of doing that than the PlayStation Star challenge page, which currently has a new set of challenges to complete, almost all of which are really easy.
There’s one available right now that’ll give you 50 points for playing any one of the following games: Halibut Harold, Coffee Talk Episode 2 Hibiscus and Butterfly, Firewatch, or Dordogne.
You don’t have to finish them or get any special trophies, just booting them up and playing them for five minutes or so should do the trick.
If you own them already great, if you can find them on PlayStation Plus, even better, but if not they’re not expensive games so it’s worth checking if any of them are on sale right now if they look like your cup of tea.

I can’t speak for most of them but I’d wholeheartedly recommend Firewatch, and I know others would do the same. It’s an eerie narrative game that’s well-worth the investment, and it’s not too long either so every story beat feels well-paced, check it out.
It’s good to fulfil these PlayStation Stars challenges whenever you can, as while they don’t grant you a whole lot in terms of points they do add up over time.
