PlayStation users can benefit from even more in-store credit in 2025, and it’s as easy as ever to claim it.
As boring as it can be to slowly watch your balance increase until you can buy something good, PlayStation Stars is a handy service to have in the background if you primarily use a PlayStation 4/PlayStation 5.

That said, if I could change one thing about the service it’d be to have it automatically enroll you in its “challenges” like Xbox does, as logging into apps and selecting them feels a bit tedious sometimes.

Either way the service is there and it’s worth using even if the rewards are few and far between, with this month offering you a handful of points to add to your balance.
Fortunately you don’t have to do anything too crazy for these, only check out the latest titles featured on your PlayStation Plus subscription, and some non-PS Plus games as well.
If you don’t I’d recommend at least the PlayStation Plus Extra tier, Premium is good but unless you’ve got a good internet connection the cloud-streaming feature and game trials aren’t worth the extra cash.
Aside from the PlayStation Plus games you’re also encouraged to buy one of four games to add to your collection, like Ape Escape or Journey, both of which are cheap to own and worth playing regardless of the type of game you’re into.

Do that and you’ll be awarded 50 points plus points equal to whatever you spent in the PlayStation Store, which isn’t a lot but every little helps so it’s good to add to your balance whenever you can.
Rack up enough points and that £10 PlayStation voucher can be all yours, be careful though as your points will expire if you don’t spend them quick enough.
