A free download without needing PlayStation Plus? Count us in!
There are plenty of perks to being a PlayStation Plus member, mainly the hundreds of hours worth of free games you can access each month.
Now that the free games lineup for August has dropped, there’s roughly 150 hours of games to play through.

That’s by no means a bad deal for a monthly subscription service.
Now for something slightly different; have you watched the teaser for season two of Squid Game yet?
Nevertheless, while few would complain, it leaves those who don’t pay for membership out in the cold devoid of freebies.

Well, we’d like to change that.
Users who enjoy collecting digital items can claim two free downloads right now.
Similar to the opportunities to score some free credit this month, there’s a select number of ways to gain collectible coins.
Redditor Libxi revealed that the coins that were meant to be released for Days of Play are now available.

What is more, the requirements for obtaining them are the same as those listed in PlayStation’s June blog post.
That Days of Play display cabinet needs to be filled; it’s pretty sad to just see bare shelves.
While digital collectors will be pleased, it seems not everyone has access to these downloads.
At least not yet.

When another Redditor posted saying they couldn’t find the coins, the OP replied, “Will most likely be there for you shortly, popped up within the last hour for me in the UK.”
Once it appears, though, it’s time to fill those shelves and show off your prowess at collecting all the freebies.
From what we can see, you have the rest of August to download these free items, so you needn’t rush to claim them.
Having been surprised with a major free download towards the end of July, it seems Sony is keen to continue its generosity.
