Sony has dropped the latest PlayStation Plus additions available to download right now.
The three games in question are included in the PlayStation Plus Essential tier and they are Death Note Killer Within (PS5/PS4), Ghostwire: Tokyo (PS5) and Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 - Turbocharged (PS5/PS4).
Check out the Ghostwire: Tokyo trailer below!
It’s worth keeping in mind that all titles and perks that are included in PS Plus Essential are also available in the upper Extra and Premium tiers, so you won't miss out on the new additions.

Arguably, the pick of the three is Ghostwire: Tokyo which was originally a timed PlayStation 5 exclusive even following Microsoft’s acquisition of Bethesda Softworks parent company, ZeniMax Media.
It’s a fun spooky game with some scares from the developers of The Evil Within, Tango Gameworks. However, don’t expect the level of scares to be anywhere near survival horror standards.
If you go into Ghostwire: Tokyo knowing that it’s primarily a very action-orientated game with ghosts, then you should be fine. What’s more, if Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 - Turbocharged is anything like the first game, that should be an absolute blast too.
- Death Note Killer Within: “is an online social deduction game for up to 10 players. Players will be split into two teams with different objectives. To win the game, players will need to figure out each other’s identities and either eliminate L who threatens Kira's power or seize the Death Note.”
- Ghostwire: Tokyo: “The population has vanished, and deadly supernatural forces prowl the streets. Use an arsenal of elemental abilities to unravel the truth behind the disappearance and save Tokyo.”
- Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 - Turbocharged: “The world’s raddest cars are back and taking the fun to the next level! Race over 130 vehicles with crazy new mechanics and even more vehicle types. Plus, build your tracks with stunning new environments and different game modes to have fun off and online!”
Hopefully, at least one of the three games on PS Plus Essential this month will tickle your fancy. Just remember to add them to your library before Tuesday, 3 December 2024 when the next batch of games arrives.
