PlayStation quietly drops 12 free games you can download now

12 bangers to play!

Are you a PlayStation gamer? Do you want some new games to play? It might be hard to set aside some time with all the 2025 badgers dropping, but there are 12 games to play via PlayStation Plus, right now.

That’s right, if you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber, the latest batch of games is here, and there are some gems just waiting for your time.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is a highlight of PS+ for March

It’s a pretty extensive list, covering a wealth of genres, so whether you want a sports game, a platformer, or an adventure game, you’re covered.

For me, headlining the list this month is Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, which I adored, and believe everyone should play.

It’s a superb metroidvania, with some lovely abilities for traversal, and played through gorgeous visuals.

If that’s not your speed, UFC 5 is punching its way through, and Captain Tsubasa: Rise of the New Champions is there for a football fix.

Arcade Paradise is available, and it also comes with a VR option for those subscribed to the premium tier.

Bang-On Balls: Chronicles is a bit of a laugh, with some nice platforming. It’s rather silly, but I enjoyed it when I reviewed it.

Filling out the options for March, you’ve also got You Suck at Parking, Syberia: The World Before, and Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation Code Fairy.

Of course, there are some retro bangers for the premium users, with a trilogy of Armored Core adventures - Armored Core, Armored Core: Project Phantasma, and Armored Core: Master of Arena - available from the OG PlayStation era.

If you want to see the origins of Fromsoftware, these three games should be played, but be prepared for a tough battle.

All of these titles are available now to download and play - you will obviously need a valid PlayStation Plus subscription to enjoy any of them.
