An even smaller PlayStation 5 than the Slim model has appeared online, and it’s absolutely adorable.
Sony loves re-releasing its PlayStation consoles with a smaller shell and sleeker design, as seen with the PS5 Slim which was honestly still an absolute chonker of a system despite the claims it’d be more compact.
The PlayStation 5 Slim is now the default PS5 model, and you can check it out below
One fan clearly understood the assignment though as they’ve gone above and beyond to create the smallest version of the Playstation 5 we’ve ever seen, and to top it all off it actually works, surprisingly well too.

The bitesize console was created by the YouTuber Not From Concentrate, who’s famous for shrinking PC rigs as small as they can go without sacrificing performance. The YouTuber later set their sights on Sony’s console, and has created a version way shorter and a little bit thinner in comparison to the original.
It’s said the microconsole was made using a 3D printer and was filled with parts that could be much more advanced/expensive than that of an average PS5, was built to be powerful but also affordable to the majority of fans. The most surprising part is testing revealed it only got a few degrees hotter than a normal PS5 when it started running.
Obviously Sony isn’t going to make a PlayStation 5, or the PlayStation 6 for that matter, this small, but it’d be adorable if they did. In fact if all video game consoles could be small and easily compacted that’d be the dream. Like if they were small and shaped like a cube that plays games, you could call it the GameCube or something, I don’t know, maybe I’m getting ahead of myself.
The real test for Not From Concentrate’s tiny PS5 would be if it can run Final Fantasy XVI, which caused a multitude of problems for normal PS5s let alone micro ones.
