“Don’t mess with the Amazing Spider-Man,” PlayStation wrote, announcing that a new skin will be coming to Marvel Rivals.

A new Spider-Man skin, based on Insomniac’s Marvel’s Spider-Man, will be coming to the smash-hit hero shooter on 30 January.

Marvel Rivals has been wowing millions of players since launch.

The new skin will showcase the Advanced Suit 2.0 from the ever-popular Spider-Man title to celebrate the release of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on PC.

It’s unclear if this new skin is exclusive to PlayStation and PC users, though it will be unlockable through the in-game item shop.

Fans of the webhead are thrilled, commenting on Twitter with joy.

“Greatest Spider-Man costume of all time,” enthused one eager fan.

One user joked, “Gonna have a -2.7 KD with Spidey, but at least I’ll look supa fly.”

This does mean that the time has come for PC players to enjoy the brilliant sequel from Insomniac Games.

When GAMINGbible's Ewan reviewed the game for PlayStation 5, he gave it a 9/10 and said, “An excellent story is strung together by a series of stunning set pieces and boss battles that remind us Insomniac Games really is best-in-class when it comes to the PlayStation 5.”

Now, players will be able to emulate the game while swinging through the battlefields of Marvel Rivals harassing healers and launching about the place, making our lives difficult.

I say that with my tongue firmly in my cheek, as Spider-Man is the bane of my life on that game.

If you Spidey players could just occasionally touch the ground for me to either heal you, or kill you, that would be swell.
