If there is one good thing about the Grand Theft Auto VI delays it is that the brand-new Rockstar title will be able to be released on the PlayStation 5 Pro console which, in turn, means that we will be able to experience it in even more clarity.
The PlayStation 5 Pro was released back in November and alongside offering a whole lot more power compared to its PlayStation 5 predecessor, it has also led to some of our favourite games receiving updated patches.

From The Last of Us to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, these games have become clearer than our eyesight and it seems the same will happen with the release of Grand Theft Auto VI in Fall 2025.

Now with major upgrades set to arrive on the PS5 Pro later this year Sony’s mega console will be the home to the highly-anticipated Grand Theft Auto title.
To sum it up, the PS5 Pro AI upscaling is expected to rival that of the NVIDIA DLSS.
This news was shared courtesy of the recent episode of Moore’s Law is Dead where they had NXGamer’s Michael on to talk about the future of the Sony console.
Michael explained that thanks to the PS5 Pro’s upscaling technology, games will be able to run at 1440p 120FPS and 4K 60FPS from that point onwards.

As a result, if Rockstar is able to make it happen, players will be able to dive into Grand Theft Auto VI on the PS5 Pro at 40FPS.
At this moment in time, GTA VI is expected to run at around 30fps but if this AI upscaling works its magic, we could see it reach the heights of 60FPS which would be remarkable for a console title.
Not that anybody would need an extra reason to buy the new Grand Theft Auto title, but you never know.
With technology improving at a rapid rate, we can only imagine the levels we will be able to reach by the time the PlayStation 6 is released but for now, let’s just get to Fall 2025.
