The votes are now in and it appears as though God of War Ragnarök is officially PlayStation users best exclusive in recent years according to a recent social media poll.
The start of the month saw PlayStation take to Twitter to post a poll bracket which would pit its most popular exclusives against each other. Taking exclusives mainly from the PlayStation 4/5 such as The Last of Us, Uncharted 4, Marvel’s Spider-Man, Ghost of Tsushima and more, Sony asked players to pick their favourites.

Shared to its official Twitter account yesterday, the results were in and with over 39,000 votes to sort through, it was clear that many fans have an opinion on the best title. However, leading the pack with an impressive 52% of votes was 2022’s God of War Ragnarök.

As the direct sequel to 2018's God of War, Ragnarök was met with critical acclaim when it was released in November 2022. So much so that it even beat its predecessor in the poll with the two going head to head in the final votes.
As for the other titles in the race, both The Last of Us Part I and Ghost of Tsushima made it to the top four, whilst Marvel’s Spider-Man, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales and The Last of Us Part II just missed out. Not even making it to the top eight was Horizon Zero Dawn, Horizon Forbidden West, Returnal and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart to name a few.
With the poll showing that the majority of PlayStation fans are big God of War fans, it would make sense for Sony to capitalise on this information. However, with no confirmation of a future entry, it could be a while before we see Kratos again.
Not only that but it still shows that PlayStation are seemingly unbeatable when it comes to an exclusive.
