Ghost Of Tsushima 2 is closer than you'd think, teases insider

Ghost Of Tsushima 2 is closer than you'd think, teases insider

We hope the Ghost of Tsushima sequel is as close as this leaker claims

Ready or not, Ghost of Tsushima 2 is coming sooner than any of us expected. That is, assuming you believe the latest tease from an industry insider.

Oh yes, we’re once again deep in the speculation mines. Nevertheless, while only rumour until the devs and/or publishers say otherwise, this particular leaker has been accurate before. Their track record isn’t a 100 percent, but they’ve been on the money before, all the same.

We're still not over Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut

When Twitter user @Silknigth was asked, “do you think they will announce Ghost of Tsushima 2?” they responded with a concise “soon”. Not exactly the “confirmation” people wanted, but it does tease that the sequel is around the bend.

Still, not everyone is convinced by these predictions.

Bloomberg reporter, Jason Schreier, posted, “This new Twitter account [Silknigth] has been getting a lot of attention recently in the world of gaming rumours, but I can confirm that several of its claims are false.” Schreier then proceeded to list said falsities for all to see.

The thing is, Silknigth was correct about the Ghost of Tsushima PC release, and so while they’re not the most legitimate of sources, past accuracies hold weight for some gamers. Either way, since the original post, said leaker hasn’t exactly been forthcoming with the hows or whys behind their so-called knowledge about Sony’s follow-up title.

Even if they had, though, with any teaser, unless it’s from official sources it’s best to treat it as wishful thinking until told otherwise. Not that we can’t get our hopes up about the highly anticipated sequel news.

Whether you believe Silknigth a “fraud” or not is immaterial right now, all that truly matters is how long we have to wait for the next Ghost of Tsushima. We pray it won’t be long, as they suggest, but perfection takes time, so it could be another GTA VI situation... Lord, we hope not.
