To celebrate PlayStation’s 30th anniversary, Sony is giving players the chance to bag themselves 30 months of free access to PlayStation Plus.

This month saw Sony celebrate the 30th anniversary of PlayStation and to mark such a momentous occasion, the company has taken to its official website to share all manner of freebies.

That includes the chance to earn 30 months of PlayStation Plus at no extra cost.

Check out Sly Cooper in action in the trailer below, with several of the series' games now on PS Plus Premium!

However, first, we must draw your attention to some epic titles that Sony has added to PS Plus as part of its Classics Catalogue.

“To mark the PlayStation 30th Anniversary, we’ve added Sly 2: Band of Thieves, Sly 3: Honour Among Thieves, and Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy to the Classics Catalogue available with PlayStation Plus Premium/Deluxe,” the official announcement reads.

It is worth taking note of these games as playing any one of them before 23 December will see existing PlayStation Plus Premium members entered into a sweepstakes with the winners walking away with the 30 months PS Plus access for free.

Of course, with 30 being the key number here, there will be 30 winners.

However, if you are not already an existing member of PlayStation Plus, you can sign up and boot up one of the Classic games before the deadline in order to take part in the giveaway.

Sony has also listed some disclaimers ahead of the sweepstakes.

Titles in the Game Catalogue vary based on time, region/country, and different PS Plus plans. As a result, not everybody will have access to the three new games.

Additionally, you can enter online ahead of 23 December with no purchase necessary to join.

With thousands of titles in the PS Plus library and new games added each month, having a subscription is a must if you regularly use your PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

So if you want to gain over two years free, don’t forget to enter before it is too late.
