Sony just mentioned that it happens to be Bloodborne’s 10th anniversary this year, so naturally fans of the game have decided to lose their collective minds.
Last week, the official PlayStation UK Twitter account sent out a fairly innocuous little tweet.
“Video games that turn 10-years-old in 2025,” read the tweet, “A fun reminder of the inexorable passage of time!”

Featured in the message is a list of well-known, much-beloved games that just happen to be turning 10 years of age this year, such as Fallout 4, The Witcher 3, Helldivers, and-- uh oh.
Yeah, you can probably guess what happened next. Let’s check in with the folks over on r/bloodborne for their live reactions to this tweet.
“A social media admin working for PlayStation UK (or their agency) came up with a low effort post that was green lit and it happens to have Bloodborne in it,” stated user beefjesus69, “Good enough for me, let’s f*cking go bois! It’s finally happening.”
ICYMI: Elden Ring: Nightreign lands this year.
“I'm going to need a second clown outfit because I feel like I'm wearing this one daily,” replied user RubberDuck-on-Acid.

So, does this one random tweet from an official Sony social media employee mean that Bloodborne news is imminent?
Could we finally be getting Bloodborne 2, or Bloodborne remastered, or even a Bloodborne PC port?
Hey, I doubt it! However, I do think that there is always a possibility that, once it does celebrate its official 10th birthday on 24 March, some Bloodborne-related news could follow.
Look, Sony knows we want more Bloodborne. It's not just plugging its ears and pretending not to listen any time its name gets spammed in every Twitter thread it's mentioned in online.

I think, one day, we will get something. The demand is there. But unfortunately, this tweet isn’t proof of anything - other than the eternal, ceaseless passing of time.
I’m probably gonna be in a nursing home by the time they do reveal the sequel anyway.
