A modded version of The Last Of Us with an all-new mode and content is in development right now, and it looks fantastic.

For PC players you’re in luck, as a new mod is in development that’ll completely change your game for the better. It’s being created by Specilizer on Twitter, and it’s called The Last Of Us: Endure Survival. This is obviously only available for the PC version of the game, specifically The Last Of Us Part 1, but in short it’s a survival moment similar to what Naughty Dog made for The Last Of Us Part 2 Remastered, No Return.
Players will need to survive the horde of infected as long as possible, earning cash as they go that they can take to Bill for better weapons and gear. You can even find dogs scattered around the map who can be recruited to distract incoming enemies.
It’s not dissimilar to Call Of Duty Zombies, just not as official and more serious repercussions upon a game over.
At the time of writing the mod is still in development so you can’t play it just yet. That being said progress is moving along nicely, with regular updates from the developer on new features and things that’ll be in the mod. It’s unknown when it’ll be release to the masses.
